Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) Cedarwood oil comes from the ancient cedarwood tree, and it has been prized for thousands of years. In the East, it has typically been used to treat urinary and bronchial infections. It is also commonly used as a calming agent, and to help with insomnia. It is a natural disinfectant, a toner, and an antiseptic, so it is very healing to the skin.
