Who is a Candidate Spectra™ Hollywood Laser Peel®?
People with acne scars, liver spots, birthmarks, rosacea, those with large pores, melasma, and varying skin tone created by enlarged oil glands on the nose are good candidates for Spectra Laser Peel. It is also good for anyone with fine lines and wrinkles, crow's feet or sagging skin on the cheeks and jaws.
What Are the Treatment Outcomes?
Patients experience little to no redness, scaling or peeling of the skin. Your skin will instantly feel smooth and glow visibly. The intensity of the effects will vary based on the laser energy and desired outcome. Most patients require very little downtime. Depending on your individual goals, four to six treatments are necessary for moderate effects, with initial improvements seen after just one treatment.
You will see immediate results after your treatment. Treatments series of three are recommended for better results. Your provider will recommend the best approach and treatment plan for your skin during your consultation.
What to To Expect During Your Treatment
First, a layer of carbon-based lotion – resembling a mud mask – is applied to the skin. Next, once the mask is set, a laser is moved over the skin to eliminate skin imperfections two ways. Once the laser begins pulsing, you will hear slight snapping sounds; you may also feel a mild tingling or warmth. Since the treatment is incredibly gentle to your skin, it usually requires multiple passes over the skin surface during the procedure. The treatment time is approximately 30 minutes.
Is There Downtime After the Treatment?
Not at all. After a Spectra™ Hollywood Laser Peel® patients can return immediately to their normal daily activities. This is another reason it is loved by actors and influencers – for an instant appearance boost before A-list appearances.
