Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) Clove is used worldwide as a domestic spice, and it has been historically revered as a medicinal herb as well. It has an extremely high content of eugenol (87%) and the properties of this constituent are: antiseptic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antibiotic. It improves skin health and stimulates blood circulation. It is widely used in treating acne.
