Wintergreen (Gaultheria procumbens) Wintergreen is used as a mild pain reliever, an anti-inflammatory, and as an antiseptic. As such, it is very useful for acne treatment, because it helps to prevent infection. It is an effective toner, as well. In addition,it is commonly used in creams, lotions and gels to relieve joint, arthritic, and rheumatoid pain.

Recommended Skin Type: All skin types, especially acne-prone.
